As a happy attachment parent and extended-breastfeeding mom myself, I felt instantly connected to Jamie Lynne Grumet, TIME cover mom and the inspiration for some heated debate around our little US of A lately. But, while she became famous for her extended breastfeeding practices and promotion of what Dr. Sears calls attachment parenting (others may call it natural or peaceful parenting), her blog is mostly about her trans-racial family and the love they share. I feel so privileged to have had the honor of collaborating with Jamie to redesign her blog, I am Not the Babysitter. Contrary to the spin that the media put out, Jamie is an incredible person and I had fun getting to know her a bit through the process.
