Process

Before we begin:

  1. Fill out a New Project Request to let me know what you’re interested in.  I’ll contact you within 1 business day with a quote and once its approved by you, you’ll receive your deposit invoice and a creative brief by email.
  2. Pay your deposit to get on my schedule.
  3. Complete your creative brief before your start date.
  4. Purchase your domain and hosting if needed.
  5. About one week before your start date, I’ll contact you about your remaining balance.

The Blog Design Process:

  1. Discover:  Using your creative brief, I gather as much information as I can about your blog and/or business.  Then I get to work researching and looking for inspiration.
  2. Concept:  I will create a mockup of your blog elements and send it over for review.
  3. Revise:  You’ll tell me what you like and don’t like about the design concept over the course of two rounds of revisions so that we get it just right.
  4. Build:  Here’s where I take the mockup design and build your template or theme on a tester site.  I’ll send it over for review one last time.
  5. Install:  For Blogger, you’ll need to grant me admin privileges to your blog.  For WordPress, I’ll need your login and ftp information.  I’ll go in, work my magic, and notify you when your blog design is ready to go!

The Logo Design Process:

  1. Discover:  Using your creative brief, I gather as much information as I can about your blog and/or business.  Then I get to work researching and looking for inspiration.
  2. Concept:  I will create two to three logo concepts for you to choose from and send them over for review.
  3. Revise:  You’ll tell me what you like and don’t like about the design concepts over the course of two rounds of revisions so that we get it just right.
  4. Convert:  I’ll take the approved logo concept and convert it to several file types and layouts.  These may include full color, black and white, watermark, .psd, .ai, .eps, .jpg, .png, and more.
  5. Deliver:  Once ready, I’ll send over all your logo files as well as your custom branding guide.  You will now hold the full copyright to your logo.
